Overview

Test strategy employs two-level approach: - Unit tests (282): Embedded in source files via #[cfg(test)] modules - Integration tests (148): Standalone files in tests/ directory


1. Unit Tests in Source Files

5. Test Fixtures and Helpers

7. Test Organization Issues Identified

Minor Issues (Low Severity)

Issue #1: Scattered Module Tests - Some modules have both unit tests in src and integration tests in tests/ - Could be more organized, but current separation is reasonable

Issue #2: Test Data Path Hardcoding

Mitigation: Use env!("CARGO_MANIFEST_DIR") for robustness
